A sneak peek of our new shop and a new Devil Eye color

We have a lot of exciting news here at Brown Lures and wanted to share it with all of you on our subscriber list first.

Demand for our lures has been running wild lately as those of you who have been seeing “out of stock” lately know all too well. In order to up the supply of Devil Eyes for the summer we recently moved into our new shop here in Houston. The new place gives us a lot more room for production, packaging, storage and even a little extra office space (which has been long overdue!). We are finally settled in and are now cranking out lures faster than ever before.

To give you a sneak peek behind the scenes of Brown Lures we put together this video for you all. You can get a taste of how our products are painstakingly handmade, and also get the first glimpse of our new Devil Eye color - Pink Lemonade. This is a new color that we did a limited run of recently, so supplies are very limited. You are totally in control of what happens with this color. If we get good feedback from everyone this summer then we might add it on as a regular color, if not then it is on to the next experiment…

Please let us know what you think about both the video and the new color by leaving some comments here on this page. If we get enough feedback we can do some more videos showing more of how we make certain lures, how we test them (i.e. fishing), or anything else you would like to see.

***Special Note***
You may notice that we finally added some stock to our website. We just made limited quantities available of Amber, Avocado, Bone, Dark Strawberry Blue, Pearl and Strawberry Devil Eyes. They won’t last long.

Cool video…I used one of your lures, the Black Cat, for the first time last weekend 5-16-09. We did really well catching trout while wade fishing near a channel in murky water. Was really pleased, just ordered 8 more colors to try out.
