Jake on February 12th, 2008Hey all you guys and gals out there in
Well, the sky cleared and the wind slowed down while Paul and I headed for the Laguna Madre South of the
We caught fish till 1:30 pm bringing in over 17 redfish that day between 24″ and 31″ and they were all heavy fish. The 31″ was over 11lbs. and took me a while to land. What a ride he took me on! We released most of the fish and they were none the worse for wear. The trout were also present and we managed to catch 9 between 17″ and 20″. Every one of these fish were caught on the Pink Hologram Devil Eye, which we have nicknamed “Little Pinky.”
The new Pink Hologram color from Brown Lures has been tearing up these fish left and right. We also left with the same lures we started with, and that’s a fact… These lures are not only deadly they are also durable. Thanks guys for making my job a lot easier…
If you are headed this way give us a call we’d be glad to hear from you or email us at steven@blueheronadventures.com
Heck you may even want to book a kayak trip.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Remember be safe and courteous on and off the water.
Happy Fishing,
Captain Steven Utley
