Jason on July 17th, 2008Capt. Kyle Tomek just sent in a quick report from Matagorda. He was wadefishing through sand and grass in West Matagorda yesterday and ran into some serious speckled trout action. His first choice out of the boat was a Plumtreuse Sea Devil rigged on a 1/8th ounce jig head that he was working really fast. This one lure stayed on his line the entire time and, according to Kyle:
This is the plastic I took off after I had caught over 13 keeper fish and threw back at least 60-100 more smaller fish on only one wade. From 6:00 until 10:00 I never made more than four casts without hooking into a fish. Check out the pic”
