Devil Eye - Plumtreuse

Plumtreuse is one of our newest color combos we have to offer. A super bright purple with a ton of blue whiskers makes this lure shine even more. Paired up with a super bright chartreuse tail and painted on eyes this lure makes the trout and redfish almost jump into your boat.

We hit the water around 7:30 this morning and the birds were working all over the place! Fishing in the birds mostly produced undersized speckled trout. We found all of the keepers to be about 100 yards outside of the birds. The action was crazy! Cast, count to 4, bam, fish on! We knocked out our limits in an hour or so.

We fished the Upper Laguna Madre yesterday using Brown Devil Eye Lures. We must have caught 75 trout in the 3 hour window we had to fish, with many of them being legal. No monsters yesterday, but a great day for throwing soft plastic lures.

We just made a delivery of lures to FTU, and they are hosting a special “Shimano Days” event today and tomorrow so this would be a good chance to check out what’s new with Shimano AND stock up on some much needed Devil Eyes.
