Devil Eye - Chartreuse

Of all our new patterns that we've tried out for the new Devil Eyes this is the favorite around the shop. We took our good old Chartreuse colored plastic body, threw in some more glitter to add to the reflection and then paired up the new eye with the bright Chartreuse tail.

Fishing this week in the Laguna Madre was incredible to say the least. There were so many trout stacked along the edges of the intracoastal waterway on the west bank that it was like fishing in a barrel. We used Devil Eyes in Chartreuse w/ 1/4 oz Brown Jigheads and caught limits of trout and a couple of flounder on different trolls.

Sabine Lake fishing is great! The Speckled Trout fishing is at its best with limits of trout to 4 lbs and Redfish to 10lbs under birds chasing shrimp…

We just made a delivery of lures to FTU, and they are hosting a special “Shimano Days” event today and tomorrow so this would be a good chance to check out what’s new with Shimano AND stock up on some much needed Devil Eyes.
