Established in 2006, we've come a very long way with bringing anglers along the Gulf Coast quality products that work. Although the company is relatively "young", our roots go way back. Both Jason and Jake grew up immersed in the fishing lure industry with the creator of the Corky being their grandfather. The basics of fishing lure design, engineering, manufacturing and testing were picked up around the shop when we were young. We've always come up with very different designs just to see how they work and how people react to them. Upon entering the market with a handful of product lines there was a definite realization that we have the ability to differentiate ourselves from the rest and provide our customers with stellar products and customer service. First came the creation of the Devil Eye fishing lure with it's traditional Brown family Devil tail, a pair of hand-painted eyes, and a sleek profile. The Devil Eye's success brought about some newer products that were heavily influenced from the Devil Eye. Next on the scene in Spring of 2008 was the SOLO. A concoction of what seemed like a frankenstein lure was ironically an amazing creation mixing the slow sink action of a mullet immitation and the faster action of the Devil Eye.

Our latest creation aside from our jigheads is the Flappin' Devil. It's part Devil Eye and part mullet paddle tail. Given the best of both worlds this lure can be used in a deep gut fishing for trout or you can drag it through the grass in a marsh for redfish. The Flappin' Devil is by far the most versatile product we offer today.

In the past there's always been immitations out on the market of various products, especially the Corky. When a company tries to copy your products exactly it's a bit flattering as well as frustrating. Unfortunately we can't stop people from copying things like designs, marketing techniques, process technologies, and material engineering but all we can do is keep developing in these areas where our competition can't and doesn't have the skills to do so. We pride ourselves in being extremely awesome when it comes to making Brown Lures the best and being a leader in the industry.
